Our development team is proud to announce the first minor release update of the gDesklets 0.36.x series which can be downloaded from here Also, you can read our "What's new" page for further information about this new release.

Weeks ago we started with the "wiki migration operation" and it has finished. Now it has been hosted in a professional hosting service in Webfaction with support included. We should not have access problems any more, so please go to the wiki and have a look.

Version 0.36 has been released!

Currently only the source distribution a deb-file for Ubuntu 7.04 and a RPM-file for Mandriva 2008.1 are available.

The next beta release of our 0.3x series will be out in a week. Lots of bugs have been fixed and for the first time there's real (Open)Solaris support. We'd like to thank Sun for their help and support.

A final 0.36 should be out 14 days later. The new shell won't be included but we'll add it later, in 0.36.1 or 0.36.2.

Due to some changed server settings we are experiencing problems with uploading and thus desklet and control submissions don't work for the time being.

This issue will be fixed as soon as possible, meaning that it should work by the end of next week.

I take it back. Everything works again :) .

We basically agreed on just porting the core to the new architecture and add new features later (which will be likely in v0.41 and v0.42). Read more about the meeting here.
